We are proud to announce that Doug Humphrey has joined AISN’s advisory board. Doug is well known in Internet history and it could be argued that he is the father of managed hosting, offering hosting from Digex, one of the first national ISPs. Doug, Founder and CEO, led the company to a successful sale to Intermedia in 1997. Doug’s impressive background includes starting and successfully selling other companies including Cidera and Coloco.
We are excited to have the benefit of his expertise and experience and really are enjoying his well-known straightforward approach laced with wit. If you ever get a chance to see Doug speak, do! He is a dynamic personality and has many stories of the “early days” that entertain and inform.
As a member of AISN’s advisory board, Humphrey will be advising us on all areas of business including operations, network operations, products/services and overall strategy.
